Developed for use with Applied Biosystems fluorescence-based DNA electrophoresis systems. The use of internal size standard enables automated data analysis and is also essential for achieving high run to run precision in sizing DNA fragments.

The DS-33 GeneScan Install Kit Dx with GeneScan 600 LIZ Size Standard v2.0 Dx consists of pooled PCR products labeled with 6-FAM, VIC, NED, and PET dyes. To generate the pooled products, CEPH individual 1347-02 genomic DNA is amplified with eight fluorescent PCR primer pairs, which amplify selected microsatellite loci (as listed in the package product insert). The kit also contains a tube of GeneScan 600 LIZ Size Standard v2.0 Dx (Cat. No. A25794).
