BD Difco™ Supplement VX with Reconstituting Fluid contains a sterile concentrate of essential growth factors V and X.

  • Supplement VX with Reconstituting Fluid is used for supplementing media to culture fastidious microorganisms, particularly Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Haemophilus influenzae.
    • Lyophilized concentrate
    • Contains vitamins, amino acids, coenzymes, and dextrose
  • This supplement is recommended for enriching GC Agar media, Proteose No. 3 Agar, and the selective agars for the isolation of pathogenic Neisseria.
