It is used as a reagent in the selective reduction of carbonyl compounds, hydorosilylation of alkenes, tandem reductive aldol reaction and rhodium-catalyszed silylcarbocyclization.

Applications

Solubility

Notes
Incompatible with oxidizing agents, acids and bases.
