Description

COSA PUR 88 is a liquid additive for alkaline cleaning solutions for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

  • Especially suitable for the removal of silicone oil in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
  • Highly efficient against fatty soils
  • High soil-suspending power
  • Compatible with Metals, austenitic CrNi steels (quality at least DIN 1.4301 = AISI 304), Plastics and Seals.
  • Due to the wide range of different plastics and seals, the suitability should be tested as required.
  • For general CIP application (Homogenizers, pipelines, tanks, etc): Concentration: 1.0 to 2.0% COSA CIP solution (COSA CIP 92 or COSA CIP 96), 1.0 to 2.0% COSA PUR 88, Temperature: 65°C to 85°C, Contact time: depends on degree and type of soiling.
  • At a temperature below 65°C the formation of foam may occur. It is therefore recommended to heat up the cleaning solution to the required level before switching on the spraying system.
  • Concentration, temperature and cleaning time can be optimized by evaluation of respective cleaning trials.
  • Final rinse with water of minimum drinking water quality, ensuring all soil and product residues are removed.
