Description

COSA PUR 83 is a liquid cleaner and cleaning additive for alkaline cleaning solutions in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.

  • Can be used as sole cleaning agent or as additive to alkaline cleaning solutions.
  • Especially suitable for the removal of pigment-containing product residues in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
  • Surfactant-free, non-foaming, biodegradable, excellent dispersing properties.
  • For general CIP application (Homogenizers, pipelines, tanks, etc): Concentration: 1 to 3% COSA CIP solution (opt.) 1 to 3% COSA PUR 83, Temperature: 45°C to 95°C (ideally 60°C to 80°C) if added to COSA CIP 5°C to 95°C if solely used, Contact time: depending on degree and type of soiling Concentration, temperature and cleaning time can be optimized by evaluation of respective cleaning trials.
  • Final rinse with water of minimum drinking water quality, ensuring all soil and product residues are removed.
