Description

COSA PUR 80 is a sprayable, concentrated surfactant suitable for the removal of fatty production residues in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.

  • Suitable for CIP-systems and manual cleaning.
  • High cleaning efficacy with fatty soils.
  • Suitable for addition to alkaline, neutral and acid application solutions.
  • For general CIP application (Pipelines, homogenizers, coaters, fermenters, etc): Concentration: 0.5 to 1.5% COSA PUR 80, Temperature: 60°C to 85°C, Contact time: depends on degree and type of soiling.
  • Before switching on the spray devices, it is recommended to heat up the solution to >50°C to prevent the formation of foam.
  • Concentration, temperature and contact time can be optimized by evaluation of respective cleaning trials.
  • For manual cleaning: Concentration: 0.5 to 1% COSA PUR 80, Temperature: 15°C to 50°C, Contact time: depends on degree and type of soiling. Use cleaning tools like swab, brush or pad if required.
  • Final rinse with water of minimum drinking water quality, ensuring all soil and product residues are removed.
