Description

Identify the pathogenic Clostridia sordelli or its toxins in pathological material. Pro-Lab Diagnostics™ Clostridium Sordelli Sera is used as a Salmonella agglutinating serum and is used for identification of cultures that have been previously characterized biochemically as Clostridia.

Clostridium sordellii is a rare anaerobic, gram-positive, spore-forming rod with peritrichous flagella that is capable of causing pneumonia, endocarditis, arthritis, peritonitis, and myonecrosis. Clostridia Sera should only be used for identification of cultures which have been previously characterized biochemically as Clostridia. This product is for research use only.
