Sartorius Stedim Biotech™ Cellulose Nitrate (Mixed Cellulose Ester) Membrane Filters, Type 11327, 0.2μm are recommended for a broad range of applications including liquid filtering for sample preparation.

  • Cellulose nitrate (CN), mixed cellulose ester (MCE), membrane filters are composed of cellulose nitrate and a small content of cellulose acetate.
  • Recommended for a broad range of applications such as the filtration of aqueous solutions, air/gas filtration, or sample preparation.
  • Suitable for sterile filtration, analytical sample preparation, clarification, particle analysis.
  • Cellulose nitrate filters, pore size 0.2 μm can be used for the analysis of filterability of beer (membrane filter test according to Esser, in “MEBAK – Brautechnische Analysemethoden – Würze, Bier, Mischgetränke – Methodensammlung der Mitteleuropäischen Brautechnischen Analysenkommission“ 2012, Chapter 2.20.1)
  • Sterilizable by autoclave, gamma irradiation, or ETO.
  • Non-sterile, bulk-packed.
