Cell Therapy Systems Hibernate™-E CTS™ Medium

Cell Therapy Systems Hibernate™-E CTS™ media is a serum-free, nutrient basal media for the short-term maintenance of embryonic tissue in ambient CO2 conditions (Ref 1). Human tissues maintained in Hibernate™-E media include brain tumors (Ref 2), umbilical cords, and foreskins.

Quick and Easy Shipment of Human Tissues
Cell Therapy Systems Hibernate™-E CTS™ media can be used for shipment of human embryonic tissue as brain tumor, umbilical cord, and foreskin at ambient temperature using a simple 3 step process:

Collect tissue in a conical tube containing Hibernate medium (brain tumor cells require additional supplements).

  • Ship tissues in Hibernate™ media within 24 to 72 hours on cold packs.
  • Transfer received tissues into media of choice and initiate cultivation.
