Description
The PA1-73112 antibody reacts with Dirofiliaria immitis. PA1-73112 has been successfully used in Immunohistochemical, ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Western blot applications. The PA1-73112 antibody was raised against Dirofiliaria immitis adult worm preparation.
Canine heartworm is a common parasite of dogs worldwide. Heartworm occurs in about 30 other species as well but rarely affects humans. The infection is commonly transmitted by mosquitoes. Adult heartworms can grow to be up to 10 inches in length and can live for 5-7 years in dogs affecting the heart and lungs.
