Description
Calcium D-gluconate gel is used to treat hydrofluoric acid burns. It is used as a cardioprotective agent in hyperkalemia, antidote for black widow spider envenomation and an antidote for magnesium sulfate toxicity. It is also involved in the treatment of hypocalcemia. Further, it is used as skin conditioning as well as provides the source of calcium ions.
