Applications
Bumetanide has been observed to block the depolarization of GABA in cortical development studies. It is been used as a specific inhibitor of Na+-K+-2Cl- cotransporter NKCC1

Solubility
Soluble in ethanol (10 mg/ml), DMSO (25 mg/ml), acetone, benzene, methanol, propylene glycol, and water (<1mg/mL).
