Rapid DNA extraction kit for qPCR SNP genotyping
DNA Extract All™ Reagents Kit is a rapid DNA extraction kit designed for preparation of PCR-ready crude lysates for qPCR-based SNP genotyping. The kit enables fast, simple sample preparation from a wide range of biological sample types—including buccal swabs, blood, tissue, cultured cells, and plant material—in as little as 5 minutes, without column- or magnetic bead–based DNA purification.
This streamlined, column-free and bead-free workflow produces crude lysates suitable for downstream singleplex and multiplex SNP genotyping, eliminating traditional wash and elution steps associated with genomic DNA purification.
Compared to column-based and magnetic bead–based purification methods, DNA Extract All reduces workflow complexity with up to 85% fewer steps, minimizing hands-on time and simplifying high-throughput genotyping workflows.
Simple, three-step sample preparation workflow
- Mix sample with the provided DNA lysis solution
- Incubate for 3 minutes
- Add the DNA stabilizing solution
The resulting crude lysate is ready for qPCR and supports both Fast and Standard thermal cycling conditions, depending on the selected master mix.
For a typical batch of 48 samples, DNA Extract All requires approximately half the processing time compared to conventional DNA purification workflows, enabling faster turnaround from sample to SNP genotyping results.
Validated performance for multiplex SNP genotyping
DNA Extract All–generated crude lysates have been evaluated for multiplex qPCR SNP genotyping using TaqPath™ ProAmp™ Master Mix.
In internal testing using selected sets of 2-SNP multiplex assay configurations and 3-SNP multiplex configurations*, crude lysates prepared from buccal swabs and blood demonstrated 100% concordance with genotype calls obtained from purified genomic DNA**.
When used together with TaqPath™ ProAmp™ Master Mix, the DNA Extract All stabilizing solution helps condition crude lysates and reduce the impact of PCR inhibitors commonly present in biological samples. This combined workflow supports robust amplification and accurate SNP genotype calls without traditional DNA purification.
These data demonstrate that DNA Extract All™ Reagents Kit enables reliable multiplex SNP genotyping performance while significantly reducing sample preparation time and complexity.
Designed for SNP genotyping workflows (not CNV analysis)
DNA Extract All crude lysates are intended for SNP genotyping applications.
For copy number variation (CNV) analysis, purified genomic DNA is required. Crude lysate inputs are not recommended for CNV applications to ensure accurate copy number determination.
