AP3B2 Polyclonal Antibody, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen PA11067
Description
PA1-1067 detects beta NAP from human, rat, and mouse samples. PA1-1067 has been successfully used in Western blot applications. By Western blot this antibody detects a ∽119-130 kDa protein representing beta NAP from brain samples. The PA1-1067 immunogens is a mixture of syntehtic peptides corresponding to residues L(260) L E E N (A/P) E K A F Y G S E E(274) of human and mouse beta NAP. The immunizing peptides (Cat. No. PEP-294) are available for purchase for use in neutralization controls.
Beta NAP is closely related to the beta-adaptin and beta-COP coat proteins. Beta NAP is a nonclathrin-associated phosphoprotein expressed exclusively in neurons, from E12 through adulthood. Beta NAP is present in the neurnal soma and nerve terminal as soluble and membrane-bound pools and is associated with a discrete set of nerve-terminal vesicles.
