XPA Polyclonal Antibody, Invitrogen™
XPA Antibody, PA5-29623, from Invitrogen™. Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse; Applications: IHC, Immunofluorescence, IHC (P), Western Blot.
Brand: Invitrogen PA529623
Description
XPA Antibody, PA5-29623, from Invitrogen. Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse; Applications: Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), Western Blot.
This gene encodes a zinc finger protein involved in DNA excision repair. The encoded protein is part of the NER (nucleotide excision repair) complext which is responsible for repair of UV radiation-induced photoproducts and DNA adducts induced by chemical carcinogens. Mutations in this gene are associated with xeroderma pigmentosum complementation group A. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.Host Species: Rabbit
Cross Reactivity: Human, Mouse
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: Recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 54 and 273 of Human XPA
Formulation: 100μL purified antibody (1.01mg/mL) in 0.1M tris glycine with 20% glycerol and 0.01% thimerosal; pH 7
Synonyms: XP1, XPAC, DNA repair protein complementing XP-A cells, excision repair-controlling, xeroderma pigmentosum group A-complementing protein
Uniprot Accession: P23025, Q64267
Entrez GeneID: 22590, 7507
Gene Symbol: XPA
PA5-29623 targets XPA in IF, IHC (P), and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and mouse samples. The PA5-29623 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 54 and 273 of Human XPA.
