SUMO-3 Rabbit anti-Equine, Human, Mouse, Non-human primate, Polyclonal, Invitrogen™
Description
SUMO3 (SMT3) is a Ubiquitin-like protein found in Saccharomyces cerevisiae similar to the mammalian Ubiquitin-like SUMO1, which is involved in posttranslational protein modification. SUMO3 is functionally active in regulation of nucleocytoplasmic transport and suggest a role in cell-cycle regulation. Knockdown of SUMO3 in Drosophila in the prothoracic gland, which controls key developmental processes through the synthesis and release of ecdysteroids, caused a 4-fold prolongation of larval life and completely blocked the transition from larval to pupal stages.
