Description

Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Human Annexin A1 shares 88% and 89% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat Annexin A1, respectively. Positive Control - WB: human A549 whole cell, human K562 whole cell, human U-87 MG whole cell. IHC: human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue, human lung squamous cell carcinoma tissue, human placenta tissue. Flow: A549 cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca (2+) -dependent phospholipid binding proteins that are preferentially located on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. Annexin I has a molecular mass of 40 kDa, with phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. Since phospholipase A2 is required for the biosynthesis of the potent mediators of inflammation, prostaglandins and leukotrienes, annexin I may have potential anti-inflammatory activity.
