Ambion Agarose-LE™ (General Use) is a high-purity, functionally tested, general use agarose suitable for routine nucleic acid electrophoresis. It has a low electroendosmosis value (EEO -mr 0.103) ensuring high electrophoretic mobility of nucleic acids. Because of the high gel strength, easy-to-handle gels can be prepared with this agarose, at concentrations as low as 0.5%. This can improve the separation of larger DNA fragments (10 to 20 kb) over conventional electrophoresis techniques.

  • Separation Range: 100bp to >30kb

Accessory Product:

  • DNA can be rapidly recovered from this agarose with Spin Columns (Cat. No. AM10065) and is compatible with restriction endonuclease digestion and ligation.
