Description

The AM 4 Multi-position Hot Plate Stirrer is a robust, multiple-position hot plate stirrer with four independent positions designed to guarantee safety, powerful stirring, and excellent heating for basic applications.

Consistent stirring and heating performance

  • Multi-position hotplate stirrer for basic applications and a variety of routine tasks in industrial and resource-based laboratories
  • Powerful brushless motor for everyday laboratory applications stirring volumes up to 4 beakers of 15 L each (H2O)
  • By turning the left knobs for each independent position, it is possible to adjust the temperature of the plate up to 310°C, while the right ones allow setting the stirring speed from 100 up to 1500 rpm
  • Equipped with VELP-engineered SpeedServo™ torque compensation technology that ensures constant speed even when the viscosity of the medium changes

Easy-to-use, safe and designed to last

  • The 135 mm diameter aluminum alloy top plate ensures temperature homogeneity and optimum heat transfer across the entire surface
  • Four illuminated indicators always inform the operator when the heating is on
  • The icons stay on when the temperature of the plate is above 50°C, even if the instrument is switched off
  • Internal electronic parts are protected by the insulating disks, which, together with the robust die-cast aluminum housing, enable the AM 4 to withstand even the most demanding laboratory environments and applications
