The design of the epMotion™ 96 Flex makes it ideal for use inside a biological safety cabinet. The footprint of the device is small enough to be placed inside the cabinet without taking up too much space that is needed for other items. For more information on using the epMotion™ 96 Flex for the aseptic handling of cells, read the Eppendorf White Paper No. 99: Advanced Cell Handling: Seamless 96-Well Pipetting in a Single Step.

The epMotion™ 96 Flex can be used with two different interchangeable 96-⁠channel dispensing heads: 0.5 to 300µL and 5 to 1,000µL. Dispensing head 0.5 - 300µL is compatible with epT.I.P.S. Motion reloads 0.5 to 50µL and dispensing head 5 to 1,000µL is compatible with epT.I.P.S. Motion reloads 10 to 1,000µL. Both dispensing heads are compatible with epT.I.P.S. Motion reloads 300µL.

Changing the dispensing head takes less than a minute without the need for any tools.
