Use with the CL17 Chlorine Analyzer (model 5440000) or bulk analytical methods to measure Total or Free Chlorine levels. Hach™ CL17 Analyzer Reagent Solutions include DPD Compound, Indicator Solution (for free or total chlorine) and Buffer Solution (for free or total chlorine).

The CL17 Chlorine Analyzer is a dependable online analyzer for colorimetric DPD analysis of free chlorine, total chlorine, or permanganate in disinfection applications. It provides accurate, reliable results and is EPA-approved for Free or Total Chlorine Analysis. Monthly preventative maintenance can be performed in 15 minutes or less with no special tools.

  • Select Free or Total Chlorine reagents (indicator and buffer solutions, depending on parameter being measured
  • The DPD compound is added to the bottle of Free or Total Chlorine Indicator Solution
  • The bottles of Indicator + DPD solution and Buffer solution (Free or Total) are loaded directly into the CL17 Chlorine Analyzer
  • The CL17 can operate unattended for up to 30 days, without daily maintenance
