Macherey-Nagel™ BioFix™ N-Tox
Provides amperometric measurement of oxygen consumption. Macherey-Nagel™ BioFix™ N-Tox is a biological test for determining the specific retardation effect of substances in connection with microbial nitrification with the aid of defined bacterial strains of the genus Nitrobacter.
Brand: Macherey-Nagel™ 970002
Description
BioFix™ N-Tox is an amperometric method of determining the specific retardation effect of the substances contained in a sample on nitrite oxidation in connection with microbial nitrification with the aid of defined bacterial strains, preferably of the genus Nitrobacter. The results are specified as % inhibition of oxygen consumption in the sample solution in comparison to a non-inhibited control solution.
