Verso 1-Step Kits are designed for minimal hands-on time and faster results. The RT and qPCR reaction components are together in a single tube, reducing protocol times and minimizing the number of pipetting steps. The buffer system of the Verso 1-Step qRT-PCR Kits has been specifically optimized to work across a wide range of RNA templates for both transcription and amplification. Special enhancers and additives have been used to generate a reaction mixture which allows both reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase to work optimally.
  • Optimized buffer—Verso RT-qPCR Kits are based on a balanced buffer to maximize performance of both the reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase enzymes

  • Maximum specificity—The chemically modified Thermo-Start™ Taq DNA Polymerase remains completely inactive during the reverse transcription stage; the enzyme is then fully activated at the start of the qPCR reaction by a 95°C heating step

These blue mixes are ideal for use with white reaction plates and tubes. An increase in detection efficiency is seen when using ABgene white PCR plastics for qPCR. While white plastics give superior qPCR results, they can make traditional colorless reagents difficult to see. With Verso, a simple glance ensures that the correct amount of master mix has been added.
