HtrA1 Recombinant Protein, RP-77541, from Invitrogen.

HtrA1 inhibits signaling by proteins of the TGF family; degrades fragments of amyloid precursor protein; and shows increased expression in osteoarthritic cartilage. Truncated, recombinant human HtrA1 is expressed in E.coli cells. The protein consists of amino acids 141-480 of full-length HtrA1, a C-terminal 6x His-tag, and contains the catalytic and PDZ domain. RP-77541 is a truncated, recombinant human HtrA1 protein expressed in E. coli; amino acids 141-480 of full-length HtrA1 with a C-terminal 6x His-tag,containing the catalytic and PDZ domain. RP-77541 may be used as a control with corresponding anti-HtrA1 antibodies or in an enzymatic assay. RP-77541 appears as a major protein of about 37 kDa in SDS-PAGE.
