Description

Melanoma cell adhesion molecule (MCAM/CD146), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in cell biology research applications. It can also be used as a protein standard.
  • Activity: Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of the HUVEC human umbilical vein endothelial cell line; when 3 x 104 cells/well are added to human CD146 coated plates (0.8μg/mL, 100μL/well), approximately >30 % will adhere after one hour at 37°C
  • Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80
  • Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
