Description

Hemopexin (HPX), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

• Activity: Measured by its ability to bind protoporphyrin IX (PPPIX); Recombinant mouse Hemopexin (HPX) binds >15μM PPPIX, resulting in a 50% decrease in the fluorescence signal of mouse HPX
• Formulation: Lyophilized in 20mM MES, 150mM NaCl, pH 6.0, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80
• Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
