DescriptionActivin Receptor IIB (ACVR2B), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. In general, recombinant proteins are suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, analysis of protein structure, and performing cell based assays. It can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in other research applications.
- Activity: 1. Measured by its dose-dependent blocking of myostatin inhibition on murine MPC-11 cell proliferation, approximately 11ng/mL of recombinant human ActivinR-IIB/Fc Chimera will inhibit 50% of the biological response due to 4ng/mL of myostatin; 2. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA; 3. Immobilized human ACVR2B (Mfr. No. 10229-H02H) at 10μg/mL (100μL/well) can bind biotinylated human INHBA-His (Mfr. No. 10429-H08H), the EC50 of biotinylated human INHBA-His (Mfr. No. 10429-H08H) is 0.112μg/mL; 4. Immobilized human ACVR2B (Mfr. No. 10229-H02H) at 10μg/mL (100μL/well) can bind biotinylated mouse INHBA-His (Mfr. No. 50659-M08H), the EC50 of biotinylated mouse INHBA-His (Mfr. No. 50659-M08H) is 0.161μg/mL
- Formulation: 140mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 10mM Na2HPO4, 1.8mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80
- Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2mg/mL or lower; aliquot and use as soon as possible
