DescriptionThe Pierce Protease and Phosphatase Inhibitor Tablets contain aprotinin, bestatin, E-64 and leupeptin to provide protection from degradation by serine-proteases, cysteine-proteases, aspartic acid-proteases. To prevent the dephosphorylation activity of serine/threonine and tyrosine phosphatases, each tablet also contains sodium fluoride, sodium orthovanadate, sodium pyrophosphate and beta-glycerophosphate. The formulation is available with or without EDTA, a metalloproteinase inhibitor that may interfere with certain downstream applications. Pierce Protease and Phosphatase Inhibitor Tablets are stable at 4°C for up to 12 months, and each tablet is sufficient for 10mL of solution.
Complete All-in-one tablet contains both protease and phosphatase inhibitors
Easy-to-use the refrigerator-stable tablets are easily dissolved in buffers and lysis reagents
Two formulations available with or without EDTA
Compatible use with homebrew or commercially available cell lysis reagents and Thermo Scientific Protein Assays
Protect intact, active cellular proteins from degradation and/or dephosphorylation by endogenous proteases and phosphatases; Preserve protein integrity and phosphorylation upstream of phosphoproteomic analyses and phospho-specific immunoassays
