Description
Lithium sulfate is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder. It acts as an important component of ion conducting glasses, solar panels and in battery. It serves as an additive for Portland cement. Further, it is used in the production of special high-strength glass, food and flavoring agent in synthetic beverages. In addition to this, it is used as a catalyst in organic synthesis for the preparation of 1-butene from n-butyl bromide.
