Pfx50™ DNA Polymerase is a designer enzyme derived from the archaean Thermococcus zilligii. In addition to 3' to 5' proofreading ability, Pfx50 polymerase is fused to an accessory protein for enhanced fidelity and processivity. This unique combination makes the Pfx50 enzyme ideal for applications that require the highest fidelity and PCR success the first time.

  • Achieve ultra low error rates—50 times better than Taq, without compromising PCR robustness
  • Save time and money—highest fidelity means you'll sequence fewer clones to obtain error-free constructs
  • Produce results quickly and easily—robust performance with extremely short extension holds
  • Fidelity (vs. Taq): 50X

Downstream compatibility with popular cloning techniques
Pfx50 DNA Polymerase produces blunt-ended PCR products for compatibility with Directional TOPO™ Expression Kits and Zero Blunt™ TOPO PCR Cloning Kits.

Unit Definition:
One unit of Pfx50DNA Polymerase incorporates 10 nmol of deoxyribonucleotide into acid-insoluble material in 30 minutes at 74°C.
