Description
Description: The 8D4-8 antibody reacts with human interleukin-4 (IL-4), a 15-19 kDa cytokine secreted by Th2 cells. Applications Reported: The 8D4-8 antibody has been reported for use as a capture antibody for human IL-4 ELISA and for intracellular staining for flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This 8D4-8 antibody is offered in 2 formats: - μg size: has been tested in intraceμLlμLar staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. - test size: has been pre-titrated and tested in intraceμLlμLar staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 μL (0.06 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
IL-4 Monoclonal antibody specifically detects IL-4 in Human samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.Specifications
