Description: This H22 monoclonal antibody reacts with and inhibits the activity of Mouse IFN gamma. Mouse IFN gamma is a 20kDa factor produced by activated T, B, and NK cells, and is an anti-viral and anti-parasitic cytokine. IFN gamma, in synergy with other cytokines such as TNF alpha, inhibits proliferation of normal and transformed cells. Immunomodulatory effects of IFN gamma are exerted on a wide range of cell types expressing the high affinity receptors for IFN gamma.Applications Reported: This H22 monoclonal antibody inhibits the activity of Mouse IFN gamma and is reported to have a 14 day half-life when used in vivo.Applications Tested: The ND50 of H22, as measured by the inhibition of protection against EMC virus in L929 cells, is less than or equal to 50 ng/mL in the presence of 1 ng/mL of Mouse IFN gamma Recombinant Protein. Neutralization dose will vary depending on assay method, cytokine concentration, and cell type. This antibody should be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.Endotoxin: Less than 0.001 ng/ug antibody as determined by the LAL assay.Storage and handling: Use in a sterile environment.Filtration: 0.2μm post-manufacturing filtered.Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE.Endotoxin Level: Less than 0.001 ng/μg antibody, as determined by LAL assay.Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC.
