DescriptionDescription: This 2SX21R monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD360 (Interleukin-21 Receptor, IL-21R). IL-21R forms a heterodimeric receptor complex with the common gamma chain to form a functional receptor for IL-21. IL-21 is a class I cytokine of the common gamma chain family of cytokines and signals through the IL-21R complex to activate the JAK/STAT (Janus Kinase/Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription) signaling pathway. Activation of the JAK/STAT pathway by IL-21 promotes transcription of genes responsive to STAT1 and STAT3. IL-21 is mainly produced by CD4+ T cells and mediates the proliferation, differentiation, and effector functions of cells expressing IL-21R such as B cells, T cells, NK cells, dendritic cells and other populations of myeloid cells. IL-21 and its receptor are implicated in the pathogenesis of chronic viral infections, autoimmunity, allergy, organ transplantation, and cancer.Applications Reported: This 2SX21R antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.Applications Tested: This 2SX21R antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 μL (0.5 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test.Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser.Filtration: 0.2μm post-manufacturing filtered.
