Description
Description: The MFL3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Fas (CD95) Ligand, a 40 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. FasL is a member of the TNF family and is expressed by mouse activated T cells. The interaction of FasL with its receptor CD95 induces Fas-mediated killing. It has been reported that the human FasL antigen is cleaved from the surface by matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), resulting in a 26 kDa soluble form. The degree of sensitivity for the mouse antigen to MMPs has not been reported. Applications Tested: This MFL3 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse FasL-transfected cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
CD178 (Fas Ligand) Monoclonal antibody specifically detects CD178 (Fas Ligand) in Mouse samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.Specifications
