PA3-200 detects human and rat SIRT2 and shows no cross-reactivity to other SIRT isoforms. PA3-200 has been successfully used in Western blot and immunocytochemistry procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ∽48 kDa protein representing SIRT2 from SAOS2 cells. PA3-200 can be used for immunocytochemistry procedures. PA3-200 immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 341-352 from the human SIRT2 protein. This sequence is completely conserved between human and rat.
