Utilize these Thermo Scientific™ Accessories for Series 1300 Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets to increase the flexibility of said cabinets. Accessories include optional stands, UV-lighting, arm rests foot rests, valves and piping.

Stands

  • Manual and electric stands provide comfortable work surface height of 30-37in. (75-95cm) for seated or standing applications
  • Manual stands are adjustable in 1in. increments; electric stands are infinitely adjustable
  • Rolling caster stand provides comfortable fixed worksurface height of 34in. (86cm) for seated applications; designed for limited cabinet mobility for cleaning purposes
  • Stands are included with packages

UV Light

  • Provides safe and easy method for cabinet disinfection
  • Factory-installed; order with cabinet
  • Included with packages

Armrest and Footrest

  • Stainless-steel armrests (set of two) provide ergonomic forearm support and extended reach inside cabinet with less airflow disruption; included with packages
  • Footrest provides ergonomic foot and posture support during seated use

IV Bag Holder Kit

  • Bar and 12 hooks
  • For hanging IV bags near interior ceiling of cabinet

Valves

  • For standard applications or universal piping
  • Standard-application valves have long stem pipe fitting appropriate for side-access media services
  • Short piping stem on universal-piping valves will not penetrate cabinet side wall
  • Combustible gas valve: Rated for combustible gas dispensing inside cabinet chamber
  • Noncombustible gas valve: Rated for noncombustible gas dispensing inside cabinet chamber
  • Vacuum valve: Rated for routing vacuum inside cabinet chamber
  • Water valve: Rated for water dispensing inside cabinet chamber

Thimble Exhaust Duct Transition

  • Allows cabinet to be connected to an external exhaust for removal of volatile toxic chemicals or radionuclides used in cabinet

  • For cabinets with stainless-steel liners, specify using unique part number rather than ordering left and right side separately
