Description QPCR SYBR Green Mix and ROX Via

ABsolute Blue QPCR Master Mixes are designed to achieve the most consistent and reproducible data across all QPCR platforms. Proprietary additives give enhanced and consistent end point readings as well as low Ct values. All mixes contain Thermo-Start™ Taq DNA Polymerase, for increased specificity, and contain dTTP for increased reaction efficiency and sensitivity (low Ct).
  • Easy-to-see mix—Master mix contains an inert blue dye for easy sample visualization during reaction setup

  • Maximum specificity—Chemically modified Thermo-Start™ Taq remains completely inactive until heated to 95°C for 15 minutes, thereby preventing nonspecific amplification

  • Improved efficiency—The use of dTTP in place of dUTP increases reaction efficiency by approximately 5% and therefore reduces reaction time

  • Increased sensitivity—The combination of Thermo-Start Taq and dTTP increases sensitivity and allows for detection of low copy number templates

  • Instrument specific—Individually optimized qPCR mixes designed for all major qPCR/Real-Time PCR instruments

ABsolute Blue qPCR mixes are ideal for use with white reaction plates and tubes. An increase in detection efficiency is seen when using ABgene white PCR plates for qPCR. ABgene opaque white plastics reflect the fluorescence signal back to the detector more efficiently than clear plastics or white plastics from other manufacturers. While white plastics give superior qPCR results, they can make traditional colorless reagents difficult to see. With ABsolute Blue, a simple glance ensures that the correct amount of master mix has been added.
